Character Background :
An Asian country who sometimes feels isolated by her peers. She is close to ASEAN nations, but still feels strongly about her ties with China and the other countries in his 'family.' Because she grew up in hardship, and had always been alone for most of her life, she learned to guard her heart and be suspicious of others. France once captured her, and although he did not treat her cruelly, she still wanted to be her own independent nation. Her brief friendship with both Russia and America afterwards made her a bit cynical, especially when they later attacked her. Fortunately, the new millennium saw a change in Vietnam as she considerably lightened up, ready to make diplomatic relations with other nations again.

It should be noted that Vietnam always carries a rice paddle/oar with her, and is not afraid to use it when the situation demands her to. She is also fiercely proud of her culture, although she secretly dreams of becoming more
Western to catch up to other nations.
